Asset Management
At A1 we know that well developed asset management plans can be one of the most influential tools to ensure the environmental, social and financially sustainable provision of valued services now and into the future.
Good asset management starts with having comprehensive asset information, but in reality accurate information is not always available. At A1 we understand that asset management is a journey that needs to be pragmatic, and set organisations up on a program of continuing improvement.

Strategic and operational reviews of community facilities incl. community centres, and libraries
Libraries are among the most valued of all local government services. Over time, there have been changes in membership, visitation, access through websites, collection usage, programs, staffing and a range of other areas.
Equally loved are community centres. Indeed libraries themselves are evolving from book filled places to genuine community hubs. Both are experiencing significant change and the need for staff and spaces to be adaptable has never been more important.

Strategic business planning for animal shelters
Pets play an important role in our homes and our community by providing companionship, opportunities for socialisation and exercise, and creating community connections.
Yet on average, for every thousand residents in your area 10 dogs and 8 cats will enter your animal shelter each year.
Learn how you business plan should deliver improvements that;
Prevent animals from entering your animal shelter,
Ensure those animals in the shelter are well cared for,
Facilitate the reuniting of lost animals with their owners and rehome animals with new owners.
Land acquisition investigations and due diligence
With our extensive background in land acquisitions, A1 have the experience and track record to help organisations investigate potential land acquisitions.
The acquisition of land is an important decision and numerous factors need to be considered to ensure that the business case is solid.
A1 also add value to this by considering possible alternatives including non asset solutions such as optimising existing sites, leasing etc.
Park and Recreation Planning and Management
A1’s Ron Jacobs, has over 30 years’ experience as a parks manager and has a rarely seen track record of success in developing park strategies that deliver City transforming outcomes.
At A1 Strategy and Infrastructure we believe that cities and towns that are great places to live and do business are those with well planned and managed parks and open space. These spaces not only support the community and the environment, but can be the bedrock of local economies, through the lifestyle opportunities they provide.
