A1 provides independent review of feasibility studies, business cases, strategies, master plans and consultant reports.

The focus is on the issues that matter to the decision: whether the need is clear, the evidence and assumptions are sound, realistic options have been considered, costs and risks are understood, and the recommendations are practical and affordable.

The purpose is not to repeat work already undertaken.

A1 identifies material gaps, tests key assumptions and provides practical advice on what should be strengthened, reconsidered or done next.

Reviews can range from a concise senior assessment to more detailed project assurance where the issues or investment warrant it.
